  FM - Sept 1, 2011 Kathy Powell McSteen is the first person to go to if help is needed for going through the process of applying for SSI/D. I was blessed when I was recommended to Kathy at DDS Services. She is right up front with letting you know if your case is strong and if you have the records to support your case. She walked my through every step and and calmed me when facing the mountains of paperwork and questionaires that so intimidated me. She is my heroine, she is very knowledgeable and if she doesn't know an answer to a question she will quickly research it and get right back to you. She makes you feel as if YOU are her only client! Kathy is professional and compassionate, I was amazed at the speed of getting through the process and being awarded SSI/D benefits. I sing my praises of Kathy and her professional and caring representation. It would by my honor to continue to recommend Kathy to anyone who needs these services. Thank you Kathy McSteen for being out there to help those who truly rely on you for your heartfelt assistance in their time of need, as you so profoundly helped me.

  Without Kathy I don't know what I would have done. She not only helped me every step of the way in getting my SSDI she also gave me a lot of information concerning the VA. She was always there when I needed her. She conducts her business the way a business should be conducted and that is hard to find here in Florida.

  Twice Kathy McSteen has started my disability case. And twice she's dropped me over her not even asking about the problems she had with me. The first time I was mad, the second time I am furious at the letter she sent me. Without knowing anything about me or what my story was she read the papers she got and went with her own story. She insulted my dad and his reputation while he's a loving father who 100% takes care of me because of my disability. While putting my mother on a pedestal without knowing her. My mother is the main reason behind my mental disability. She never even talked to me and dropped me twice. She assumed the therapist in my past were for the same reason, which they weren't I was 14 and my parents stuck me in therapy because of their divorce, she then went on to say the doctor I see just writes prescriptions, when he does a lot more than that and I've been to a different doctor and started seeing a therapist. Both of these she didn't mention in fact she wrote it like she had no knowledge of me seeing either of them. I have a written note from my doctor and a second doctor to back up the fact I am disabled and cannot work. She pretty much copy and pasted places I could go that could get me working again. If it was that easy I wouldn't be sick and I'd be working and in college. Other than that she finished by basically saying you aren't disabled you're an addict. I'm no addict my medication is strictly controlled, and I live with my father I'm pretty sure he'd notice. Instead this woman has twice wasted my time without any just cause. She is the last person I would ever go to for help. She'll look at your paperwork google you and if she likes what she see's she'll take you. If you're a little rough around the edges and not squeaky clean she wont take you. All she cares about is winning and getting her money. After the way she dealt with me I'll be going to every place she has comments to warn people about this woman. Unless you can hand her papers and walk into court she wont waste her precious time on you. She's about money not helping.

  I feel truly blessed that I found Kathy to represent me when applying for my SS Disability. She took an overwhelming experience off my shoulders and turned it into an easy, fast, positive outcome. Her professionalism and knowledge of the SSA is remarkable. She has changed my life and given me hope where I had none. I strongly recommend to anyone looking for a rep. to start with Kathy and you'll be very happy that you did.

  Kathy Powell McSteen is the only person you need to go to for help with SSI/D. (She came highly recommeneded from a friend of mine.) She is there every step of the way. She explains everything you need to know throughly. She gets back to you asap if you have a question via phone or email. I am extremely happy with her work and have recommened her to a few friends. Just call Kathy...you will not be sorry!
