- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆We purchased a car and and tried to transfer existing personalized tags to the my wife's other car and had the go through having my bank put my name on the car title. We were told we would be contacted once they received the car title from the bank. The bank sent the title and should have been received on a Saturday and still no word from the county tax collector office three days later. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I am a year round resident of Venice so you can imagine how many times I've had to leave work early and rush over to the dmv. Every single time I have ever been (about 15 over the years) I've been in and out in under TWENTY MINUTES and that includes waiting in line! - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We have visited this facility twice as we set up a new home in Englewood. The people here are awesome. They are organized, efficient, courteous (!) and go out of their way to get you what you need. They are fast, too. Several of them took stock of our circumstances and made suggestions relating to saving us money. These folks work to make things better. We were not prepared for this. We hail from NJ.
